Now you're in the editing mode. To preview the page, press P or click on in the right bottom corner. To return to editing, press , which replaced the eye. You can switch between two modes anytime.


This tutorial has several pages. In editing mode , use arrows at the right edge of the screen to navigate between pages. In preview mode , just scroll up or down.

To add a picture, enter editing mode . Press W: a pop-up menu will appear, find the picture widget in it. Click this widget and upload an image. If you don't like the result, undo shortcut ⌘+Z works here—as it does everywhere across Readymag. To redo, use the ⌘+Shift+Z shortcut.


You can also drag and drop a picture from your desktop or use our image library, powered by Unsplash and Flickr. GIFs are supported as well.

Now it's time to make things a bit fancier. Change the radius of your picture widget, round corners, or set a border. You can also set a different radius for each corner, with their own values for Mobile and Desktop.

Another important feature is crop. Double-click on the image in editing mode to see what's going on. After you’ve selected the crop tool, use the scroll bar to scale the picture or customize the crop box manually. You can automatically resize the image so that it fits the original dimensions.

With the Lightbox feature enabled, an image will be expanded to full-screen on click. Set background color and adjust transparency.

You can add a picture to the background of your project. To do so, click on the layers list in the lower left corner.

The background picture can also be combined with color.
