Antarctic Design Festival is a yearly gathering happening on the Southern Continent, dedicated to celebrating the end of winter and awesome design. We host ADF several weeks before the return of official travel back to Capetown. During the festival, polar researchers who have spent a long winter in Antarctica can rejoin each other and have fun together.

According to leading experts in the field, design may be the next big thing in Antarctica. We expect a number of new web projects, posters and fonts crafted during the winter season will double or even triple the yearly numbers.

Lectures from the world’s leading design luminaries will be very welcome by polar researchers, while guests have the breathtaking scenery of Antarctica for inspiration.
