irma boom creates books, or more accurately, “builds” them like an architect. this won her the fame of one of the world’s most inventive and experimental book designers, as well as commissions from rem koolhaas, ferrari and the un.

today irma is an academy fellow at the yale university school of art and her works are housed in collections from the centre pompidou in paris to moma in new york.
