New Features
Speed up your work with Group Resizing. Design with pixel-precise adjustments using Widgets Sizes.
Group Resizing
Until recently, you were able to change the size of widgets only one at a time. Now, you're able to select several widgets at once and scale them as one.
Widgets Sizes
We’ve exposed widgets’ sizes and introduced fine mechanism to tune them.
To bring up widgets' sizes turn it on in the Grid & Guides panel.
Page Height
Also, you can now change the page height faster. The bottom of each page got a tiny “blue diamond” icon. Simply drag it up or down or set the exact pixel value in the popup.

introducing
global
widgets
New Feature
Just one button, yet so many possibilities. With a single click this new option makes any widget Global: the widget will appear on every single page of your project. Edit it on any page and the changes will take place on all other pages, too.
On All Pages
Turn this toggle On and a widget appears on every single page of your project. Manually hide the widget on those pages where you want it to be hidden.
Above Pages
People love Readymag’s embedded transitions between pages, both horizontal and vertical. This option will keep a Global Widget floating on top when pages change.
‘Current’ link style
We’ve added a new link style for Text and Button Widgets. With this style you can define the current page active link—where a user is currently on. Choose color and underline properties for the ‘Current’ link style and we’ll do the rest—detect on which page it will be shown in the Viewer.

scalable
layout
Viewer
With a huge number of screen sizes existing today, variable desktop browser’s width adds to your design an uncertain amount of empty and often unused space. Readymag is thrilled to introduce a straightforward solution to this problem. With just one switcher the whole page layout, with all its contents, scales up to any ←browser width→. The bigger the browser window is, the bigger your layout gets. This is exactly what we do with the mobile layout. This time, we deliver the same principle for the desktop, ensuring consistent viewing experience across multiple desktop devices.
Check out Scalable Layout in the projects below: to see its effect change the size and proportions of your browser window.
β
Note that Scalable Layout is not
a default mode of the R/m viewer,
but an option that you can turn on
in the Project Settings.
Please keep in mind that this feature is in Beta mode. Therefore, some visual distortions may occur; expect near-pixel-perfect precision.

New web fonts
We are happy to announce our partnership with type.today. Six superb typefaces from their collection enriched our Font Library.
Graphik
Graphik was inspired by less common 20th century sans serifs that many European foundries released to compete with Futura and Helvetica. First drawn as the house style for Schwartzco Inc., it was further developed for Condé Nast Portfolio and later for Wallpaper* and T, the New York Times Style Magazine.
by Christian Schwartz, Commercial Type, and Ilya Ruderman
Austin
Austin was originally designed as headline type for Harper’s & Queen fashion magazine by Paul Barnes. The author himself describes the face as “a British Modern with the styling and sheen of New York in the 1970s.”
by Paul Barnes, Commercial Type, and Ilya Ruderman
Giorgio Sans
Giorgio Sans was created by Christian Schwartz for the New York Times’ style magazine. The distinguishing feature of the typeface is the extreme x-height and short extenders.
by Vincent Chan, Christian Schwartz, Commercial Type, and Ilya Ruderman
Kazimir
Kazimir blends various features of pre-revolutionary Russian typography with contemporary ideas of fashion, form and harmony. The face has slightly narrowed proportions, reminiscent of the rhythms of transitional serifs.
by CSTM Fonts, Yury Ostromentsky, Ilya Ruderman
Kazimir Text
Compared to Kazimir, Kazimir Text has a bit wider proportions, a bit lower contrast, and much wider codepage with extended language support.

NWT Bodoni
This distinctive typeface is based on the letters as drawn in Manuale Tipografico, a book by punch-cutter and publisher Giambattista Bodoni. The typesetting is compact and even, as the designer of the face Elena Novoselova created it specifically for text sizes.

All these typefaces are available in the Font Library and are ready to become part of your projects.
