— Ecwid
— Editor — E-commerce
We have added Ecwid to our list of supported E-commerce vendors. They offer a flexible tool that’s helped users set up online stores in more than 200 countries.
With Ecwid, you can offer users shipping services and discount coupons, as well as set up different product types and payment methods. The checkout page is provided by Ecwid and can be customized through their interface.
It also allows to change field values for products users add to their shopping cart, including article names, product description and prices. That’s useful in a variety of scenarios, especially if you want to localize your store for different countries.

— Variable fonts supported, new fonts added
— Editor — Text widget
We have added several new fonts from independent distributor type.today: Parmigiano Text Pro, Proto Grotesk, Sauber Script and Spektra.
Also, variable fonts are now supported—if a font is variable, instead of a limited number of style selections (Regular/Bold/Italic…), a sliding toggle will emerge. Give it a try with Spektra, or use the Variable filter under the Google Fonts library tab.

reCaptcha in Forms
— Editor — Form widget
Your forms can now be protected with Google-powered Captcha—to activate, use the toggle in the Form widget settings.
When enabled, Captcha is automatic: if a Google-powered device detects a risk of fraudulent behaviour, it will prompt the user for a captcha code. If no possible threats are detected, Captcha won’t be displayed.

— Cookie consent tools available on Creator and Custom
— Editor — Code
We have added three cookie consent vendors (Iubenda, CookieBot and CookieHub) to the list of code injection tools eligible for Creator and Custom plans.
These tools allow you to add a customizable cookie consent popup to Readymag projects, making sure they are compliant with data protection and privacy legislation like GDPR.

— Text widget 2.0
— Editor — Text widget
The renewed Text widget allows you to align texts vertically, write from right to left, choose a wider range of typographic symbols from the widget's panel and use variable fonts.

— Project Settings 2.0
— Editor — Project Settings
Our new Project Settings menu is a functional and stylish way to control settings from a single sidebar.
Along with the Project menu 2.0, it is a big next step toward making all relevant tools easily accessible.

— Mailchimp double opt-in enabled
— Editor — Form widget
You can now enable double opt-in with our Mailchimp integration (part of the Form widget).
Double opt-in is a requirement for new subscribers to prove their consent to subscribe. It protects your mailing list from addresses with typos, as well as malevolent injections from third-party emails.
To enable Double Opt-in on Readymag, enable it in your Mailchimp settings.

— Shots on Creator plan
— Editor — Shots widget
From now on, users with a Creator plan may also use the Shots widget—it is no longer restricted to just Professional plan subscribers.
However, with the Creator plan certain restrictions apply: only 300-frame videos can be uploaded.
Users with a Professional plan will now be able to upload video files to the Shots widget via direct link.
The quality of Shots has also been improved for all paid plans without any changes to project size.
