Every December, we look back at the previous 12 months and select the best projects made with Readymag. It’s never easy for us to agree on the nominees to run in the Projects of the Year contest. Yet, in 2020 we think we’ve picked the strongest line-up in years. Perhaps ever.


This time, proficient Readymag designers we call R/masters helped our team finalize the shortlist. Projects that accumulated most votes from them have a special badge ‘R/masters’ choice’.

R/masters’ choice

An entertaining and deep exploration of the interface as a concept. Sly “1980s black-and-green computer”-style design adds a thought-provoking level of visual complexity.

Expressiveness can be achieved without color: the combination of bold black fonts and shapes on a white background is especially impactful in this project.
