Sweet
1 / 2
Uppercase
Beginning with the capitals (the forebears of Sweet Sans often limited their letters to capitals), the face declares a readiness to occupy space generously. The ease of manner is in keeping with the face’s proudly declarative function – to announce the visit of an “important person” (visiting cards) or to convey the soundness and solidity of an undertaking (business correspondence). In other words, its width speaks of stature and attitude.
