AnTOnIO MARIA
FLEXIBLE • INVERTED CONTRAST • RHITHMIC
This is an inverted-contrast typeface with 150 ligatures and a large character set, with over 400 glyphs.
Extended bars and lines are used to connect characters and create intriguing ligatures, that contribute to creating groups of letters. The diacritics are located inside the serifs, rather than above the glyphs, another eccentricity
in this striking typeface. The dominant characteristic of Antonio Maria is the distinctive contrast in the
Upper and Lowercase shapes - the Uppercase letters are extended, and the Lowercases are narrow. Both cases
can be mixed, giving words an uncommon rhythm!
