Zündapp Janus
1957—1958
Zündapp, a solid old German motorcycle manufacturer, began production of one of the strangest cars in history in 1957. This microcar was completely symmetrical, with one front door, like the Isetta, and one rear door. The engine was in the center of the car’s body. Production began in 1957 and ended in 1958. In all, 6,902 cars were produced.

Scootacar
1957—1964
The Scootacar was a British single-seat microcar manufactured in Leeds during the years 1957–1964. Scootacar Ltd. was a division of locomotive producer Hunslet Engine. According to corporate legend, the car was dreamed up to please the director’s wife, who wanted something easier to park than her Jaguar. The car was designed by Henry Brown. A redesign in the 1960s was much more successful than the original, with seating for three and a top speed of 89 km/h.
