Grant for Designing Women

In alignment with the values and mission of Designing Women, the ReadyLaunch Grant is our initiative to bridge the gender gap in the design industry. This grant is an extension of our commitment to elevate the voices of female-identifying, non-binary and other persons affected by gender-related issues in the realm of design, echoing the ethos of Readymag itself. The ReadyLaunch Grant is tailored to kickstart or fully launch small, executable projects in the design community. It embodies our dedication to: • Support underrepresented designers. • Encourage resource and knowledge sharing. • Inspire creativity and innovation in design projects.

Whether you're dreaming up a newsletter, a zine (digital or print – you name it), starting a YouTube channel, launching a podcast, or any other media project with a focus on design, we're here to help. You can use the grant to fund your work, pay your team, rent necessary spaces, get the right production services, sign up for essential subscriptions, or even get the training or advice you need to make your project shine. We believe in your vision and know you'll put these funds to good use. The grant is open to all female-identifying, non-binary persons and those individuals affected by gender-related issues in the realm of design. This includes, but is not limited to, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color), migrants, refugees, people with disabilities, and individuals who have been impacted by systemic oppression. We seek ideas that push design boundaries and align with the values of Designing Women and Readymag.
